Barenaked Ladies

This post is dedicated to the best thing that our Neighbours to the North have given us. Better than SCTV, Aero bars and Macintosh Toffee. It's my favourite band, The Barenaked Ladies, which just performed in Salt Lake City. The shots aren't the best, as security threatened removal of my camera if anything larger than my 50mm touched it, but these aren't too bad considering the distance.

I had so much fun photographing this little girl. She had so much energy, and her personality came through in every shot. What a dream client.

I've promised myself that I'm going to make sure that I find the time to add at least 3 pictures a week...wish me luck!!!

I'm so excited. My picture "Rockstar" was selected from our local Worldwide photo walk to proceed to the Worldwide contest. This is slightly different from the first one I posted, and oddly enough, different from my finished one, as my program crashed before I exported it, and I really had to get the entry in. I'm thrilled to get a book form Scott Kelby. I own one of his, and find him a brilliant writer who's easy to follow. Yipppee!!!

The Cache Valley Scholar Academy put on the play "Much Ado About Nothing" as a fundraiser for the Wellsville Tabernacle. The play was set post Civil War. I loved all of the amazing costumes.

We were driving home on July 5th and saw this gorgeous sunset. This photo has had no post processing done. I can't imagine how to improve on it.

I did my first class of 2010 picture seesion this past week. She was so talented, playing 4 different instruments, many sports, and a world traveler as well. It made for a great session.

She was such a fun gal. I loved her personality. She wanted to do a fun picture, and we thought what could be more fun than imminent danger...so here ya go!

I finally got my storyboards to upload. These are from the Worldwide Photo walk as well.

These sisters needed pictures for a modelling call. We had so much fun doing this shoot. Levi Sim from SDesignsPhotography
http://SDesignsPhotography.blogspot.com came along to lend his expertise with lighting. The girls were accepted to the agency they wanted. Congrats!
